E-commerce website requirements in order to satisfy card brands

A commercial website must have the following information requirements in order to satisfy card brands (visa and mastercard)
  1. Privacy Policy
  2. Refund/Cancellation Policy (in most cases these are part of wider T&C)
  3. A detailed description of the products and services you sell
  4. Contact information that includes company’s physical if possible and email addresses. It’s best if you can add a customer service phone number as well, but not all companies have it. An online form all by itself is not enough.
  5. Clear pricing terms. Now, some merchants operate Ask for a Quote business model and may not show prices on their web site. We can show some flexibility in this matter.
